SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY 1 - DAY OF ARRIVAL
- Upon your arrival at the airport, our team member will warmly welcome you.
- You'll be guided to the car that will transport you from Velana International Airport to your hotel.
- Once you've checked in at the accommodation, take some time to rest, relax, or wander around the island at your leisure.
- Later, enjoy a group dinner, followed by a briefing for the trip program.
DAY 2 - DIVE MALE
3-dives day at Male Atoll
DIVE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Begin your dive adventure with a check dive at the Fish Tank dive site, well known for its stingrays and schooling bannerfish. This colorful dive will definitely help you get comfortable with your gear while enjoying the lively marine life that thrives around this unique artificial reef.
- Following this, embark on a dive at the renowned Hulhumale Nerumathi dive site, known for its high chances of shark encounters.
- Explore the depths in hopes of encountering the majestic tiger sharks and the elusive great hammerhead sharks.
- Enjoy snacks/lunch at the beachside café near the jetty before diving into same dive site for the second time where bull sharks, lemon sharks, spinner sharks and guitar sharks are frequently spotted.
- End the day with a mesmerizing view of schools of stingrays and banner fishes gliding through the water at safety stop.
DAY 3 - DIVE MALE
3-dives day at Male Atoll
DIVE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Kickstart your day with two thrilling morning dives at the famous Hulhumale Nerumathi dive site renowned for its high probability of shark encounters.
- Dive deep in search of majestic tiger sharks and the elusive great hammerhead sharks that patrol these waters.
- Take a break to enjoy snacks or lunch at a beachside café near the jetty before setting off for an exciting afternoon dive at Lankan Manta Point. Just a short ride away, this site offers the opportunity to witness majestic manta rays (seasonal) as they visit cleaning stations.
- End your dive adventure by observing the fascinating symbiotic relationship between manta rays and cleaner wrasses.
DAY 4 - DAY OF DEPARTURE
- Depart for home with unforgettable memories of your Maldivian scuba safari.
- Begin your departure day with breakfast at the hotel.
- The dedicated hotel staff will guide you to the transfer that will transport you to Velana International Airport.
